- Description
- 65th Contracting Squadron, Lajes Field, Azores proposes a contract a contract action (base plus three option periods) for services for Vitros 350 Maintenance. The government intends to solicit and negotiate with only JOHNSON & JOHNSON LDA under the authority of FARS 6.302-3. Acquired services consist of providing preventive maintenance and inspections for the Vitros 350 medical equipment. JOHNSON & JOHNSON LDA has been found to be the only vendor who can provide these services on existing and already installed equipment. This Notice of Intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals; however, interested persons may identify their interest and capability to meet this requirement for consideration by the Government. If no response is received by 14 Nov 08 04:00PM, to the effect that comparable services are available that would be more advantageous to the Government than obtaining these services through a sole source procurement with JOHNSON & JOHNSON LDA, a sole source award will be made. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 811219 and the small business size standard is $7.0. The request will be made available on the Government Point of Entry (GPE), Fedbizops website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/ on or about 10 Nov 08. Telephone and fax requests will not be honored. All prospective offerors interested in submitting a quote must have a commercial and government entity code (www.ccr.gov ) Central Contractor Registration (CCR). Facsimile quotes will be accepted.
