Description

The U. S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) intends to enter into a sole source modification to purchase order NRC-DR-08-0385 with Bethesda North Marriott Hotel & Conference Center for food and beverage service for the Effective Supply Chain Oversight for New Nuclear Power Plant Construction Conference. The NRC awarded purchase order NRC-DR-08-0385 to the Bethesda North Marriott Hotel & Conference Center to provide conference space and audio visual equipment for the Effective Supply Chain Oversight for New Nuclear Power Plant Construction Conference. NRC has a requirement for food and beverage service during the conference. The Bethesda North Marriott Hotel & Conference Center’s Outside Food & Beverage Policy states that all food and beverage must be provided by the hotel. Therefore, the Bethesda North Marriott Hotel & Conference Center is the only available source for the NRC’s food and beverage requirement. This is not a request for competitive proposals. Requests for copies of this solicitation will not be honored unless the respondent provides evidence showing their capability to perform the required services.
