- Description
- The Government intends to issue one Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract to procure leasing of NTV and Armored NTV vehicles and maintenance services for the Afghanistan area of operations. The IDIQ will have one base period of 12 months and two 12 month option periods. Capacity of the IDIQ will be $30 million for the base period and $30 million for each of the option periods. Listed below are the minimum expectations for the vehicle leasing and maintenance contract: 1. The selected offeror shall provide vehicle leasing to the Government for the Afghanistan Theater. 2. The vehicle leasing contact shall include scheduled maintenance for the Kabul area only. Agencies leasing vehicles for use outside the Kabul area will be required to contract separately for scheduled maintenance. 3. Unscheduled maintenance must be provided as required in the Kabul area. Agencies leasing vehicles for use outside the Kabul area will be required to contract separately for unscheduled maintenance. 4. The selected offeror must be capable of providing leased vehicles in two weeks from time of order. 5. The selected offeror must have a lease tracking system that reports, at the minimum, on a task order basis the following: a. Vehicle task order b. Period of the lease c. Scheduled Maintenance Details d. Unscheduled Maintenance Details e. Invoicing information including those paid and outstanding f. Receiving report status (form SF1034/35) 6. The selected offeror must provide a single point of contact for all issues regarding the leasing contract and maintenance. This person should be resident in Kabul and capable of dealing with all issues surrounding the contract including but not limited to ordering, invoicing and maintenance. 7. The selected offeror shall be capable of quickly delivering vehicles anywhere in the Afghanistan Theater of operations within one week of the vehicles arriving in Afghanistan. Interested parties are invited to provide comments on the draft RFP content.
