- Description
- This is a Presolicitation Notice for non-personal services to provide taxi and aircrew transportation service at Lackland AFB, TX. The successful offeror shall furnish all management personnel, vehicles, tools, material, supplies, supervision, equipment and labor necessary to ensure that aircrew and taxi service are performed. The Service Provider shall provide transportation for aircrew and taxi service for the 37th Training Wing and all tenant units assigned to Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio Texas, not to exceed 50 miles one way. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this project is expected to be 485310; the size standard is $7,000,000. This requirement is set aside 100% for 8(a) competition. The Service Contract Act of 1965 applies to this requirement. An electronic solicitation for this requirement is anticipated to be posted on the Federal Business Opportunities website (www.fbo.gov) on or about the end of November 2008 or early December 2008. Anticipated Base Year period of performance is 01 March 2009 thru 28 Feb 2010, with four one-year options. All interested parties must be registered with Central Contractor Registration (CCR), must have a DUNS number, and Tax ID number.
