- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) SP4704-09-Q-1005. This RFQ is for a contractor to provide the following new items listed below to the HDI Federal Center in Battle Creek, MI. This is a brand name requirement due to the Intermec SR 30 scanners being the only scanners that can interface with the software the Government uses in it’s warehouse locations.
