- QSDACCB-S6-08-6830-SQ Amendment 1 11/13/08 Please note the following changes to the Solicitation: On page 1, Item K. Technical POC phone number should be 760.830.1932 (name is correct: SAL MARTINEZ) On pages 2 through 9, Items 1 through 15 the "EST 1-YR Qty" in all items is the quantity of full bottles we sell, not the Unit of Issue we sell. For example on Item #1, Acetylene, the EST 1-YR Qty is 30 bottles (i.e. 300 CF), not 30 CF as implied by the way the response table is layed out in the RFQ. On page 6, Item #10 says "MIN 350 psi." It should read "MIN 3500 psi." The amount of gas in a Cubic Foot varies depending on the pressure. These bottles are normally filled to 3500 psi. A vendor bidding on a 340 CUFT bottle at 350 psi would be bidding far too low for the actual quantity delivered in a 340 CUFT bottle at 3500 psi. On page 8, Item #14 MAPP GAS, the unit of issue is incorrect. MAPP gas is sold by the pound, not by the cubic foot. On page 9, Item 16 Repair and Maintenance, "One Year of Repair and maintenance for Items 1-15" cannot be estimated in one line item because hydro-testing is only required every 10 years. There is no way to estimate how many hydro tests might be required in a given year, it could be all of the tanks or none of the tanks. This should be broken out into two lines: Item 16a "One Year of Repair and Maintenance for Items 1-15, (i.e. valves, markings, etc.)" Item 16b "Hydro-test, as required" There are no other changes. All other terms and conditions remain the same.
