Acrylic fibers and super washing have been part of producting this sock. Ideally this will be a Base contract with 4 Option years Salient Characteristics for Cadet's Thorlo® Anti-Fatigue Combat Boot Sock 1. Purpose: Anti-Fatigue Thorlo® sock is designed for military use that requires prolonged standing or marching. The lightweight compression improves circulation and reduces fatigue. The cushioning is designed to protect against blisters, shock, impact and abrasion. The fibers allow for wicking of moisture for dry and odor free feet. 2. Material Content: A combination of fibers including 82% THOR-LON® acrylic, 9% Nylon, 5% Spandex, 4% X-Static®. 3. Fiber Purpose: THOR-LON® acrylic provides superior wicking and a soft feeling comfort while still maintaining its shape for cushioning. The increased density of the THOR-LON® fibers at the heel and toe improve shock and impact absorption. The X-Static® fiber has anti-odor and anti-microbial benefits particularly around the foot area. The Nylon fiber is woven to the exterior of high friction areas for improved durability. The Spandex fiber helps keep the sock in place over the calf and to improve circulation. 4. Construction: The heel and ball have added fiber density to reduce shock, impact, shear and blisters. The instep has flat knitted fibers for improved boot fit. The arch has additional lightweight padding. The foot area includes anti-odor and anti-microbial X-Static® fiber. The calf contains Spandex fiber to promote circulation and help keep sock in place. Sock are black for BDU wear and Sage for ABU wear. Salient Characteristics for Cadet's Black Thorlo® Dress Sock 1. Purpose: Thorlo® Dress sock is designed for use with military dress shoes. The thin cushioning pad is designed to protect against blisters, shock, impact and abrasion. The fibers allow for wicking of moisture for dry feet. 2. Material Content: A combination of fibers including 64% THOR-LON® acrylic, 30% Nylon, 6% four channel wicking polyester. 3. Fiber Purpose: THOR-LON® acrylic provides superior wicking and a soft feeling comfort while still maintaining its shape for cushioning. The increased density of the THOR-LON® fibers at the heel and toe improve shock and impact absorption. The Nylon fiber is woven to the exterior of high friction areas for improved durability. The four channel polyester aids in moisture wicking process. 4. Construction: The heel and ball have added fiber density to reduce shock, impact, shear and blisters. The instep and arch have flat knitted fibers for improved shoe fit. Salient Characteristics for Cadet's Thorlo® Physical Training Sock 1. Purpose: Thorlo® Physical Training sock is designed for extended physical training and workouts required by the military. The lightweight compression improves circulation and reduces fatigue. The cushioning is designed to protect against blisters, shock, impact and abrasion. The fibers allow for wicking of moisture for dry and odor free feet. 2. Material Content: A combination of fibers including 77% THOR-LON® acrylic, 12% Nylon, 5% Spandex, 6% X-Static®. 3. Fiber Purpose: THOR-LON® acrylic provides superior wicking and a soft feeling comfort while still maintaining its shape for cushioning. The increased density of the THOR-LON® fibers at the heel and toe improve shock and impact absorption. The X-Static® fiber has permanent anti-odor and anti-microbial benefits specifically for the foot area. The Nylon fiber is woven to the exterior of high friction areas for improved durability. The Spandex fiber helps to improve circulation and compression for support. 4. Construction: The heel and ball have added fiber density to reduce shock, impact, shear and blisters. The instep has flat knitted fibers for improved athletic shoe fit as well as extra cushioning for lace pad pressure protection. The arch has additional lightweight padding. The foot area includes anti-odor and anti-microbial X-Static® fiber. The calf contains Spandex fiber to promote circulation and help keep sock in place. Salient Characteristics for Cadet's Thorlo® Ski Sock 1. Purpose: Thorlo® Ski sock is designed for thermal protection commonly required when conducting cold weather activities. The sock also provides similar benefits of the anti-fatigue combat boot sock along with the added thermal protection. The lightweight compression improves circulation and reduces fatigue. The cushioning is designed to protect against blisters, shock, impact and abrasion. The fibers allow for wicking of moisture for dry feet. 2. Material Content: A combination of fibers including 61% THOR-LON® acrylic, 37% Thermolite® hollow core polyester, 2% Spandex. 3. Fiber Purpose: THOR-LON® acrylic provides superior wicking and a soft feeling comfort while still maintaining its shape for cushioning. The increased density of the THOR-LON® fibers at the heel and toe improve shock and impact absorption. The Thermolite® hollow core polyester provides superior thermal insulating properties. The Spandex fiber helps keep the sock in place over the calf and to improve circulation. 4. Construction: The heel and ball have added fiber density to reduce shock, impact, shear and blisters. The instep has flat knitted fibers for improved boot fit. The arch has additional lightweight padding. There is additional cushioning at the instep and shin to protect against boot pressure.
