- NSN 3110-00-030-3381, Bearing, Ball, Airframe, This NSN is a Navy Critical Safety Item (CSI). Certificate of Quality Compliance (COCQ) and QPL applies. Origin Inspection Required. Critical Application Item. FOB Destination. Requested delivery is 50 DARO. Solicitation will result in an Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC) for a base year plus 4 option years. Solicited unrestricted on an Other than Full and Open competitive basis. Pricing will be evaluated on the Estimated Annual Demand (EAD) which is 5268 each. The Guaranteed Minimum quantity is 1317 each. These quantities will be the same for the base year and all four option years. Deliveries will be to the DLA stock locations on the east and west coast. Surge requirements are applicable. Surge plan detailing how schedule and surge quantity requirements will be met must be submitted. Award from this solicitation can only be made for a domestically manufactured (U.S. or Canada) bearing and bearing components. The final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. Solicitation issue date is anticipated to be 8 December 2008. A copy of the solicitation will be available via the DIBBS website https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/ on the issue date cited in the RFP.
