- **SOLICITATION OPEN AND CLOSE DATE IS POSTPONED. NEW ISSUED DATE IS NOVEMBER 21, 2008. NEW CLOSING DATE IS DECEMBER 19, 2008**. Request for proposal number SPM4A6-09-R-0090, purchase request number 0019814695, NSN 5995-01-548-8989, Wiring Harness, Branched will be issued to established a Firm Fixed Price Contract to include a 100% Quantity Option and will be issued unrestricted. The quantity is for 339 each. This item is to be utilized on the Hornet F/A-18 (E/F) Aircraft (VUN). This is a Navy Critical Safety Item (CSI). Government first article testing requirement (FAT) applies and will consist of 3 samples. Delivery for the Production units is 159 days ARO, delivery for the submission of the test report is 180 days and the Government Evaluation is 120 days. Configuration Control Applies. The item is a critical application item. Approved sources are Klune Industries Inc., cage code 05DN8; Raytheon Technical Services, cage 072E5, DCX-CHOL Enterprises Inc., cage code 27456, and Marvin Engineering Co, Inc., cage code 32067, part number 1534AS1391-2 respectively. FOB Destination, Inspection and Acceptance Origin. Ship to Address is anywhere in the Continental US. The anticipated issue date is November 21, 2008 & closing date of December 19, 2008. Automated Best Value System (ABVS) will apply; offers will be evaluated based on price offered and past performance.
