Description
KAF-RCC Annual Forecast FY08 - FY09 First item. The International Security Assistance Forces, Combined Joint Task Force-101, Regional Command-South, Afghanistan, through the Joint Contracting Command – Iraq/Afghanistan, purchases supplies, services and construction. Some contracts may include options. Projected requirements include: Purchase orders for items in varying quantizes including numerous FSGs (23, 25, 26, 29, 30, 32, 34, 35, 38, 39, 40, 41, 42, 43, 44, 45, 46, 47, 48, 49, 53, 54, 55, 56, 61, 62, 63, 65, 66, 67, 68, 69, 70, 71 – 81, 85, 99), prefab. Structures, local sustainment items, office supplies, Printers and printing cartridges, communications equipment, information technology equipment, force protection and individual protective equipment and supplies, communications, life support services, information operations services, uniforms, security services, weapons maintenance, heating ventilation and a/c equipment and repair, repair of misc. equipment necessary to sustain forces. Typical quantites do not exceed (100) units (ea). Commercial services necessary to train, equip, and conduct daily operations. Requirements also include minor construction < $750K. The anticipated value of all of these requirements is in approximately $150M for the remainder of FY09. Second Item. Some procurements may be limited to vendors in Afghanistan and the vast majority will include preferences for Afghan-based firms. Some procurements involve negotiations. Third Item. Required delivery dates are set for each procurement. Fourth Item. Information on solicitations for procurements being locally procured in Afghanistan may be found at www.militarycontracting.com. Any economic and technical requirements, financial guarantees and information required from suppliers Technical requirements and financial guarantees are tailored for each procurement. Sixth Item. Payments may be a lump sum for delivered supplies, a monthly payment for services rendered, or progress payments for longer construction projects. Payment terms will vary between procurements. Generally, no fees are required for tender documentation. Seventh Item. Procurements involve purchases, leases, and rentals. Procurements specify what is requested. Eighth item. Deadlines for procurements are specified in each procurement.
