PROJECT TITLE : Water Quality Sampling & Testing Services LOCATION : Black Butte Lake, Tehame and Glenn Counties, Orland, CA This Procurement shall be conducted under FSC CODE: S222, SIC CODE: 4941, NAICS Code: 221310. The size standard for this code is $7,000,000. All questions shall be directed to the Purchasing Agent, Annette Fleming, at (916) 557-6882, FAX: No.: (916) 557-7854, e-mail Annette.Fleming@usace.army.mil. TYPE OF AWARD : This acquisition shall be 100% Small Business Set Aside Request for Quotation. All Small Business responsible sources may submit a quotation. This request shall be awarded to Low Price Quotation. JOB DESCRIPTION : The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Sacramento District is issuing this announcement for commercial services: Water Quality Sampling & Testing Services. DESCRIPTION: Perform Water Quality Sampling and Testing for Black Butte Lake, which shall be performed at the following location: Buckhorn, Eagle Pass, Park Headquarters, Orland Buttes Recreation Area and the South Canal Storage Area within the Black Butte Lake Boundaries, Tehame and Glenn Counties, CA. The Contractor shall provide the State Certification and shall be trained and qualified in sampling techniques. Any award resulting from this solicitation shall be a firm-fixed price, Base Year with four (4) Option Years for a total of a five (5) year contract. Solicitation W91238-09-Q-0039 shall be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore hardcopies shall not be provided. Vendors wishing and electronic copy shall download it on or about 17 November 2008. Prospective vendor are Strongly urged to visit the site, to set up a site visit contact the Lake at 530-865-4722 to become familiar with the location and the work involved. All Quotations are due back not later than 28 November 2008 @ 10:00 am PST. The acquisition method is Request for Quotation. The acquisition method is Request for Quotation. Evaluation factors for award shall be as follows: Low priced responsive, responsible, compliant vendor shall be awarded the contract. VENDORS ARE ADVISED THAT THIS PROJECT MAY BE DELAYED, CANCELED OR REVISED AT ANY TIME DURING THE SOLICITATION, SELECTION, EVALUATION, AND/OR FINAL AWARD PROCESS. ORDERING SOLICITATION : The solicitation shall be available on or about 17 November 2008. The Request for Quotation shall not be provided in hard paper copy. The solicitation and all amendments for this acquisition shall be posted on a secure Government website known as FedBizOpps. Access to the solicitation documents on the FedTeDS website shall be via a hyperlink. Viewing/downloading documents from FedTeDS shall require prior registration in Central Contractor Registration ( www.ccr.gov ).
