- The Federal Bureau of Prisons - Field Acquisition Office in Grand Prairie, Texas, intends to make a single award for the provision of Landfill Disposal Services for the Federal Correctional Complex, located in Butner, North Carolina 27509. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 562212 (Size Standard: $12.5 million). It is estimated the contract will require for the disposal of 3,050 tons of solid waste and construction debris for the base year, and each of the 4 option years. The contract period shall consist of one 12 month base year and four 12 month option periods for renewal. The Contracting Officer anticipates awarding an indefinite-delivery, requirements' type contract with firm-fixed unit prices. The award will be made to the responsible contractor who submits the most advantageous quotations to the Government. The solicitation will be available on or about December 22, 2008 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fedbizopps.gov. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The website provides all downloading instructions to obtain a copy of the solicitation. All future information concerning the acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed solely through the website. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the site to ensure you have the most up-to-date information about the acquisition. All contractors doing business with the Federal Government shall be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. The website for registration is www.ccr.gov. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is on or about January 12, 2009. The solicitation will be unrestricted. All responsible sources may submit quotations. Faith-based and Community-based organizations can submit offers/bids/quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. Please note: All contractors doing business with the Federal Government must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database.
