- Description
- AETC has a need to convert approximately 3300 hours (28+ courses) of classroom based courseware to Distance Learning in less than two years. The objective of this program is to be able to reduce TDY to school costs while providing the training to our Airmen anytime, anywhere. This supports the AFSO 21 program and is in line with both AFSO 21 and AETC goals. Converting the required courses to Computer Based Training (CBT) is considered commercial in nature since it is the same service that is provided to the general public. The final delivered product must be 100% operable with the AETC Advanced Distribution Learning System (ADLS). The anticipated Solicitation release date is on or about 24 November 2008. The solicitation will be a competitive 8(a) set-aside that will result in up to four indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract awards. All anticipated task orders for converting classes will be placed by 30 September 2009, with final deliveries and acceptance of converted classes occurring NLT 30 September 2010.
