- The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration has a requirement to provide all necessary personnel, material, equipment, services and facilities to conduct hydroacoustic surveys using scientific grade, split-beam sonar in accordance with the solicitation and statement of work under a contract at the National Ocean Service/Center for Coastal Fisheries and Habitat Research (CCFHR) Beaufort Lab, 101 Pivers Island Road, Beaufort, NC 28516. The contractor will accompany the science party of CCFHR on their 17 day research cruise aboard the NOAA ship RV Nancy Foster to the waters around the Island of Vieques. Final report results will be due by June 2007. The contract is expected to be awarded on or about August 14, 2006. The applicable NAICS number is 541710 and the small business size standard is 500 employees. This requirement is 100% set aside for Small Business. The Request for Quotations is only available on line by downloading from this site. In order to comply with the Debt Collection Improvement Act of 1996, ALL CONTRACTORS must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) to be considered for an award of a Federal contract. Contractors are asked to provide their (DUNS) Dun and Bradstreet nine digit number along with their quotation. This is a Commercial Acquisition and Federal Acquisition Regulations Part 12 apply.
