- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons Field Acquisition Office in Grand Prairie, Texas intends to solicit quotes from educational institutions for the provision of a vocational training program with instruction in the area of Computer Applied Drafting (CAD). The contractor will provide a CAD program that is consistent with the requirements of a 16-hour A.A.S. CAD program. Services are to be rendered onsite at the Federal Correctional Institution located in Morgantown, West Virginia. Anticipated enrollment in the program will be approximately 20-25 male inmate students per class. This solicitation should result in the offer of a contract award that will consist of a base year with four (4) twelve (12) month option periods for renewal. Annual estimated requirements are four 3-hour courses per year and one 4-hour course per year. The solicitation will distributed solely through this website. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The website provides downloading instructions. All future information regarding this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is December 19, 2008. This solicitation is issued on an unrestricted basis. All responsible sources may submit a quote which will be considered. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations have the right to submit quotes equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible.
