Description: The Power Conditioning and Continuation Interfacing Equipment (PCCIE) office located at Hill AFB, UT has a requirement for the procurement of Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) equipment and related services. This is an initial public notice that the formal requirement is estimated to be within the following standards: 1. The basic ordering period will be 5 years from date of award, with a single 2 year option period. 2. Estimated total contract value including all option periods: $568.7 Million 3. Estimated award date: May 2009 4. Anticipated contract type: Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) 5. Anticipated source selection procedures: Price Performance Trade-off (PPT) This competitive source selection will require all interested contractors to submit the attached market research questionnaire. All contractors desiring to compete for this effort will necessarily become pre-qualified through the PCCIE office before consideration will be given to any proposal. Further announcements will be forthcoming that will include the Technical Requirements Document as well as the Statement of Objectives. The PCCIE office will also hold an industry day at Hill AFB, UT, to be described in a future public notice. This is an initial public notice to inform interested sources that the attached questionnaire is necessary to become a qualified source, and that future notices will be posted in conjunction with this requirement.
