- Description
- Contractor to provide all labor, materials, supervision and equipment to complete project entitled "Asbestos Removal Building 5 and Building 6 With Sewer Replacement". Contractor shall completely prepare site for building operations, including demolition and removal of existing structures, and furnish labor and materials to perform project in accordance with drawings and specifications. THIS PROCUREMENT IS 100% SET-ASIDE FOR SERVICE DISABLED VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESS IN ACCORDANCE WITH PUBLIC LAW 109-461 AND 38 USC 8127. NAICS code is 562910 and the size standard is $14.0 million. The successful contractor must have a current valid registration in the following websites: http://www.ccr.gov, https://orca.bpn.gov, https://vets100.vets.dol.gov and http://vetbiz.gov. Bid Bond, Performance Bond and Payment Bond will be required. A site visit is scheduled for December 5, 2008 at 11:00 am. Location for the site visit to begin is Building 36 Conference Room, Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, 2121 North Avenue, Grand Junction, CO. The solicitation documents will be posted to the Federal Business Opportunities website (http://www.fbo.gov) on or about November 21, 2008. Paper solicitations will not be issued. All questions must be submitted to the Contracting Officer in writing. Contractors must submit joint venture agreements with their bid if you are bidding as a joint venture. Bid Opening is scheduled for January 7, 2009 at 2:00p.m. In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations 36.204 and Veterans Affairs Acquisition Regulations 826.204 the estimated price range for this project is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00.
