- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Institution in Danbury Ct., intends to issue a solicitaion for the Quarterly Requirements of Subsistence (miscellaneous dry goods). This solicitation is restricted to 100% Small Business, FOB Destination, Delivery dates January 12 - 16, 2009 (items are a one time shipment). Deliveries will be made to FCI Danbury, 33 1/2 Pembroke Road, Danbury CT, 06811. The proposed contract type is a Firm-Fixed Price. The Government reserves the right upon award to make a formal single or multiple awards. The Government will award to the responsible offeror (s) whose offer, conforming to the solicitation, that is considered to be most advantageous to the Government. The Solicitation will be made available on or about November 25, 2008, and will be distributed solely through this site. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The website provides all downloading instrutions to obtain a copy of the solicitaion. All future information concerning the acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed solely through the website. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the site to ensure you have the most up-to-date information about the acquisition. All contractors doing business with the Federal Government shall be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. The website for registration is www.ccr.gov. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is on or about November 25, 2008. Payment will be made using Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT), each offeror is required per 52.212-3 to complete their representations and certifications via the On-Line-Representations and submit offers/bids/quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for wich they are eligible. All responsible sources may submit a quote.
