- The Government intends to award a sole source contract to Analytical Graphics, Inc.(AGI), 220 Valley Creek Blvd., Exton, PA 19341 via GSA schedule GS-35F-4022D to procure additional Satellite Tool Kit (STK) Professional Edition upgrades and licensing support through 2009. This package was developed as a commercial off the shelf (COTS) software system by AGI. STK is the only software package available to industry and Government that encomplasses all of the following "features/uses" rolled up into a single cohesive analysis and operational tool set.Below is a subset of the capabilities that will be used by OAD/MCCDC:1. Is a full time dynamic 3D environment using a WGS84 oblate spheroid as a base for itsphysical calculations.2. STK has been independently validated and verified for accuracy by The AerospaceCorporation, which is a US government FFRDC (http://www.aero.org/)3. An Expert system for any aircraft (fixed wing & hover) flight profile and propagationgeneration which has been validated against flight data by a third party.4. Land, air, sea and space geometry and sensor pointing algorithms to determine whenone object can "see" any other object based on position and attitude data.5. Satellite modeling of any type of orbit to determine position and orientation6. Sensor and NIIRS (National Image Interpretability Rating Scales) calculations from anyobject to any other object based on position and attitude.7. Radar modeling from any object to any object including SAR, Search Track, Mono/Bi-Static as well as jamming effects.8. Communications modeling from any object to any object for any antenna type,modulation including jamming/interference effects9. A fully documented Application Programmers Interface (API) which allows users tocreate simple Macro's to fully deployed executables for "field/operational" usage.10. Ability to use DTED terrain data, level 0-5 as a visibility constraint for line of site sensors,communication links and radar detection.a. Ability to use urban terrain data as a visibility constraint11. Built in Monte-Carlo tool and available Optimizer to include:a. Gradient based optimizationb. Adaptive surrogate optimizationc. Darwin genetic optimizerd. Variable influence profilee. Prediction profile12. Customer support staff of systems engineers available at a toll free telephone numberfrom 0600 to 2200 EST Monday through Thursday and 0600 to 2000 EST on Fridays.
