Description
This is not a request for either a quote or proposal. The intent of this pre-solicitation synopsis is to notify potential offerors of the following upcoming requirement: lease of four (4) trailer/manufactured buildings each with twelve (12) office spaces at Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune in Jacksonville NC. The lease specifications include, but are not limited to, four (4) mobile/manufactured building approximately 36ft by 66ft each with a center hallway and twelve (12) walled office spaces. Two (2) restrooms per manufactured building are to be provided. Service is 300 Amp. A Project Manager is required to be on-site during delivery and set-up. A complete list of specifications will be included in the solicitation. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 332311 and the annual size standard is 500 employees. The proposed contract is being considered for 100% set-aside for small business (SB). Interested SB concerns should, as early as possible but not later than ten (10)! days of this notice, indicate interest in the acquisition by notifying the contracting officer listed below. The contract term will be a base period of one (1) year plus two (2) option years. The total term of the contract, including all options, will not exceed 36 months. In certain circumstances, the Government may require the Contractor to continue performance for an additional period up to six (6) months under the "Option to Extend Services" clause. In either case, the Government will not synopsize the options when exercised. This is a new procurement. It does not replace an existing contract. Offerors can view and/or download the solicitation at https://www.neco.navy.mil/ when it becomes available. All interested offerors shall register at the website. The solicitation will be available on or around 8 December 2008. The estimated date for receipt of proposals is on or around 22 December 2008. The solicitation will be available in electronic format only.
