- The Department of Veterans Affairs Cleveland Business Center, Brecksville, Ohio, Office Enterprise Development, intends to sole source this procurement to Pioneer Data Systems. This training is not available through any other non-IT business. The VA has invested time with Pioneer Data System to ensure that they are current with all the latest industry trends and innovations that permeate today's marketplace. Pioneer Data Systems provides the VA with a unique level of training required to support VistA software, which is built on M and Fileman. Pioneer Data Systems is extremely familiar with the VA organization structure and plays a key part in tailoring the training specifically for VA. Any company attempting to pick up where Pioneer Data Systems leaves off would have a steep learning curve and potentially handicap the OI organization in fulfilling their long-term goals and objectives. FAR 13.106-1(b). NAICS 611420 This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be accepted. However, any firm that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification to the Contracting Officer within one (1) calendar days from the date of publication of this synopsis. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail, to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirements. Information can be sent to the Contracting Officer, Department of Veterans Affairs, Cleveland Business Center, 10000 Brecksville Rd. Brecksville, Ohio, 44141 or via fax (440)746-2123. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon the responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, Department of Veterans Affairs, Cleveland Business Center will proceed to sole source this requirement to Pioneer Data Systems.
