- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov/ and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at https://www.neco.navy.mil/, and the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division, Acquisition website located at http://www.crane.navy.mil/acquisition/synopcom.htm. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by NSWC Crane. The Government anticipates a modification to contract N00164-08-C-JN35 to add 144 each of SAI P/N:S505003-14, feed chute, 72 each of SAI P/N:S505088-105, link chute, 72 each of SAI P/N: S505088-107, link chute, 144 each of SAI P/N: S509023-151, feed chute adapter, and 50 each of SAI P/N: S505087-111, feed chute. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division intends to, on a sole source basis, enter into a firm-fixed price(FFP) contract with Standard Armament, Glendale, CA in accordance with the statutory authority 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The Government does not own current data, drawings, or other specifications to permit full and open competition.
