- UNITED STATES GOVERNMENT General Services Administration Seeks Leased Space in Jacksonville, FL REQUIREMENT: The United States Government seeks to lease 2,248 Rentable Square Feet (RSF) to yield 1,955 ANSI BOMA OFFICE AREA (ABOASF). The Government requires a fully serviced lease. Space must be located in a prime commercial office district with attractive, prestigious surroundings with a prevalence of modern design and/or tasteful rehabilitation in modern use. Subleases are not acceptable. DELINEATED AREA: The delineated area is within the CBD of Jacksonville as follows: Bounded by the St. John’s River to the South, State to the North, Liberty to the East and I-95 to the West; however, space is preferred being south of Duval, east of Jefferson, and west of Main. REQUIRED: One parking space, assigned and on-site. All services, supplies, utilities and tenant alterations are to be provided as part of the rental consideration. The offered space must meet Government requirements for Security, Fire Safety and Handicapped Accessibility. The space must be within the same building and contiguous on the same floor. Any properties or proposals submitted by brokers/agents must be accompanied by written evidence that they are authorized to represent the building’s ownership. Include whether the site is located in a flood zone and if so, please indicate the type of zone. LEASE TERM: Term is for 10 years, with 5 years firm, with the Government having cancellation privileges after the 5th year on 60 days notice. Proposed occupancy date is April 30, 2010, or earlier if feasible. OWNERS/AGENTS: We plan to schedule your appointment for December 17, 2008.
