- EXTENSION DATE GIVEN FOR NOTICE OF SOURCES SOUGHT: There is no solicitation available at this time. The MICC-White Sands Missile Range-DOC has a requirement for the Engineering Design Branch of the Public Works Directorate at White Sands Missile Range (WSMR), NM. This sources sought synopsis is in support of a market survey being conducted by WSMR to determine potential small business, 8(a), veteran-owned small businesses, service-disabled veteran-owned small business, and HUB Zone small business sources technically capable and qualified to provide CD-ROM/DVD in support of the industrial construction specifications subscription. The contractor shall be required to provide each of the following items: (1) (DS-360 CD-ROM/DVD) Federal construction Specifications service to include: Building product services, Div. 1-16 Military specifications Sections (Civil, Electrical and Mechanical), Federal construction regulations, and Corp of Engineers guide specs. (2) (ES-410-CD-ROM/DVD) ASTM INTERNATIONAL COMPLETE service to include: Test methods and material specifications. (3) (ES-511 CD-ROM/DVD) ANSI CONSTRUCTION services to include: Construction standards. (4) (ES512 CD-ROM/DVD) ANSI MECHANCIAL service to include: Mechanical; mechanical, acoustics, vibrating and mechanical shock and sound recording. (5) (ES513 CD-ROM/DVD) ANSI ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONIC service to include: Electrical and Electronic standards. (6) (ES-521 CD-ROM/DVD) ASHRAE service to include: ASHRAE test standards to be used with ARI Specification Standards. To contain the four volume ASHRAE handbooks. (7) (TGE1 CD-ROM/DVD) GLOBAL Account: service to include hard copies of specs, latest code books, reference books, latest building code, latest electrical code, (8) (ES560 CD-ROM/DVD) AWWA service to include: Complete A through E series standards, complete water manuals series number 1 through 23. (9) (ES641 CD-ROM/DVD) NFPA services to include: NATIONAL FIRE PROTECTION ASSOCIATION: Manuals of the latest specs on new construction dealing with the compliance of all fire regs. All NFPA standards and related technical committee reports. (10) (ES655 CD-ROM/DVD) SSPC service to include: All SSPC standards for surface preparation, paint selection and paint applications. (11) (ES674 CD-ROM/DVD) SMACNA service to include: All Standards of SMACNA as well as energy conservation guidelines. (12) (ES752 CD-ROM/DVD) UL (Non-electrical) service to include: Fire protection, casualty & chemical hazards, burglary protection, signaling, heating and, refrigeration, air-conditioning and marine (13) (ES555 CD-ROM/DVD) BHMA service to include: Documents used by architects, construction specifiers and construction designers to specify hardware for doors and windows. (14) (ES535 CD-ROM/DVD) ASSE service to include: All ASSE standards dealing with plumbing and sanitation equipment performance. (15) (ES526NW CD-ROM/DVD) AASHTO service to include: All standards of ASSHTO dealing in the design, building and maintenance of highways, streets, bridges and overpasses, tunnels and related construction. (16) (ES612 CD-ROM/DVD) IESNA service to include: All IESNA standards dealing with Illuminating Engineering. (17) (ES630 CD-ROM/DVD) NEMA service to include: All NEMA standards dealing with the National Electrical Manufacturers Association. (18) (DSARI CD-ROM/DVD) Army documents: updated army documents, latest Manuals, newest Army REGS. (19) (DS1 CD-ROM/DVD) Defense Standardization service: services to include specifications, technical manuals, and technical letters that were created and used by other government agencies. Also: -- Vendor must provide a union locator index for military specifications and a union locator index for the industrial and federal standards. Individual indexes for each title are not acceptable. -- Federal Construction Regulations service must provide cross-referencing to standards and specifications. -- Military specification packages must contain military specifications and vendor printed indexes, filmed alphabetical and numerical indexes, industry standards and vendor locator indexes; vendor supplier directory and military handbooks. -- Updating on all CDs and DVDs at least every 30 to 60 days. -- Vendor capabilities should include a computer search capability for standards and specifications requested. The North American Industry code for this acquisition is 519190. The information and capabilities submitted by the vendors will be used to prepare a prospective offerors list and aid in acquisition strategy. Include any suggestions on what your firm would consider standard commercial practices. Also, indicate what type of company your business is (small business, 8(a), veteran-owned small business, etc.). Any information submitted by respondents to this notice is strictly voluntary. The Government will not pay for any information that is submitted by respondents to this Sources Sought RFI. Again, participation in this effort is strictly voluntary with no cost or obligation to be incurred by the Government. The Government will in no way be bound to this information if a solicitation is issued. Should funding be made available for this potential requirement, a Request for Proposal (RFP) will be posted on this website. Any responses to this notice expressing interest in being considered for this proposed contract, should include the following: Company Name, Point of Contact, Address, Telephone and Fax numbers, E-mail address, Business Size, DUNS number, Cage Code, and Tax ID Number. Notice to Potential Offerors: All offerors who provide goods or services to the DoD must be registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR), as well as, the Wide Area Work Flow System (WAWF).
