- The Office of Naval Research (ONR) intends to negotiate on a non-competitive basis with North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University (NCA&T) for the continuation of program management support services for the Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) Future Faculty Fellowship Program while awaiting the outcome of judicial review. The anticipated competitive RFP N00014-09-R-0003 which was synopsized in FedBizOpps on 06 November 2008 has been placed on indefinite suspension pending the outcome of judicial review. NCA&T has been managing the program under Contact Numbers N00014-01-C-0401 and purchase orders N00014-07-M-0132 and N00014-08-M-0062. The purpose of the program is to increase the number of United States Citizens who have advanced degrees in Engineering and who commit to teaching at an HBCU upon graduation. Responses to this notice must be e-mailed to Ms. Muller at mullera@onr.navy.mil no later than fifteen (15) days of publication of this notice.
