- THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Tampa, FL intends to award a sole source firm-fixed price contract to Acousti-cal 1734 Tropic Street, Titusville, FL, for the purchase of Three (3) Audio Booths, IAC 140 act-2 Audiometric test suite with exam room and control room. This announcement constitutes the only notice. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 334510 with a size standard of 500 employees. Specification requirements will be CLIN 0001, IAC Series 140 act-2 Audiometric Test Suite with Exam Room measuring 7L x 84W x 66H and Control Room measuring 5L x 84W x 79H. Overall exterior dimensions of Test Suite are 9L x 16W x 84H. Approximate weight is 14261 lbs. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
