- REPAIR - GENERATOR, ROTOR MAGNET SOL FA8117-09-R-0006 PR FD2030-08-01613 448 SCMG/PKBD TINKER AFB OK 73145-0315, For additional information contact Vinita Chambers/PKBD/(405) 739-5490. A firm fixed-price Requirements type commercial contract is contemplated with one (1) basic year and four (4) one year options for repair of Generator, Rotor Magnets with 100% contractor furnished material. Item 0001 : Noun: Repair Rotor Magnet NSN: 6115-00-578-7922HY; P/N 1004. BEQ as follows: 10 EA Basic Year; 10 EA OPT YR 1; 10 EA OPT YR II; 10 EA OPT YR III; 10 EA OPT YR IV. Applicable to KC-135 Aircraft. Destn: FB2039 Tinker AFB. Item 0002 : Over and Above. Item 0003 : Data in accordance with DD1423 and Appendix B. Delivery: Item 0001 - 10 every 30 calendar days ARO and receipt of reparable assets for Basic Yr, OPT YR I, OPT YR II, OPT YR III and OPT YR IV. The approximate solicitation issue date is 11 DEC 2008 and the estimated solicitation response date will be 12 JAN 2009. The anticipated award date will be 15 MAR 2009. History: Previous acquisition 20 APR 2006, Aerospace Engineering Group USA Inc., DBA Summit Aerospace, Inc. Electronic procedures will be used for this solicitation through FedBizOpps at http://www.eps.gov/. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS APPLY. For qualification information/source approval requests contact Source Development Office, OC-ALC/SB (405) 739-7243. Award will be based on meeting our requirements and cannot be delayed pending qualifications of additional sources. Approved Sources are Honeywell International Inc., Tempe, AZ and Summit Aerospace, Inc., Miami, FL. A Determination by the Government to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. It is suggested that small business firms or others interested in subcontracting opportunities in connection with the described procurement make contact with Honeywell International, Inc. and Summit Aerospace, Inc. Note: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from Offerors or potential Offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
