- Description
- The U.S. Census Bureau intends to procure lodging in the Washington Metropololitan Area. Lodging is required for 135 participants for the Local Employment Dynamic Workshop on the following dates: Tuesday, March 3, 2009- 10 single rooms on Government Purchase Order, 3 single rooms per night for call-in; Wednesday, March 4, 2009- 60 single rooms per night on Government Purcahse Order, 8 single rooms per night for call-in; Thursday, March 5, 2009- 60 single rooms on Government Purchase Order, 8 single rooms per night for call-in; Friday, March 6, 2009- 5 signle rooms on Government Purchase Order, 3 single rooms per night for call-in. The accomodations must have Metro Accessibility and full service restaurant. The Census Bureau reserves the right to conduct an on-site inspection of offered facilities. Award will be made on a best value baisi in accordance with Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Lodging rate must be equal to or less than Government per diem rate. All responsible sources that can meet the requirements and provide items as listed above may respond to this solicitation by submitting cost and technical proposal, hotel contract and descriptive literature to Lisa Safewright via email to lisa.r.safewright@census.gov or to fax # 301-763-4149. Award will be made by Government Purchase Order. Closing date for receipt of proposals is Monday, December 11, 2008.
