AMENDMENT NOTICE: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, in conjunction with FAR 13.5, as applicable, and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; bids are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is W74R7L82340001000 and is issued as an invitation for bids (IFB), unless otherwise indicated herein. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-26. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 452111 with a small business size standard of $25M. This requirement is a [ Small Business ] set-aside and only qualified offerors may submit bids. Answer 1: The preamble has 55 words. Restructured the Clin Line Item to show each word. Question 2. In Item No. 003: There are no size specs for how large the seal and scroll need to be, as well as no Point size for the 1775Answer 2: We will provide a full size set of Army colors to the successful bidder for demo and return at the end of the project. We will require the bidder to provide a three quarter size rendering of the three elements as an end product. We will not provide a vector file. Question 3. In item No. 003: It states there are 178 streamers, but according to MIL-DTL-14650/1N, as of 31OCT08, there are 181 streamersplease confirm Answer 3: Confirmed 181 streamers Question 4. In the attachments section: CLIN002 document (hallway_option_11_nov_08_2 has the suffix of ".ppt". Is this meant to be ".ppt" (Powerpoint document)? If not, which program opens this type of file? Answer 4: PPT Question 5. Item 001: 28 inch diameter dimensional [cast] of the Army Seal what are the EXACT specs needed for the casting? Material? Thickness? Density? etc. The Exact Match only requirement states that no substitutions are allowed, however, no exact specs have been provided to meet Exact Match with assurance. We can do exact match on size requirements and finish requirements using hand-carved high-density urethane with a polyurethane finish, but I wont bid if Im not sure what you need. Please confirm asap as this closes in 2 hours. We are a total small business. Answer 5: 28 inches across, 2 inches thick, density does not matter -- if museum quality. We want to verify the material needed: actual cast metal, a composite or plastic with bronze finish.Answer: A composite is perfect., 1, EA; For this solicitation, USA ACA Pentagon, Contracting Center of Excellence intends to conduct an online competitive reverse auction to be facilitated by the third-party reverse auction provider, FedBid, Inc.
