- THE PURPOSE OF THIS REPAIR IS TO ESTABLISH A FIRM-FIXED PRICE, REQUIREMENTS CONTRACT TO REPAIR SAFETY RELIEF VALVES, LIQUID LEVEL SENSORS FOR FIRE DETECTOR SYSTEM AND OTHER RELATED MECHNICAL FLIGHT CONTROL COMPONENTS WITH FSC, PART NUMBERS AND BEQ AS FOLLOWS: BASIC YEAR - NSN:4820-01-318-1730UC P/N: 7720030-105 BEQ: 33 UNITS, Dim: H 5.2in x W 3in x D 6.7in, Form/Function: The Dewar valve, as used in the fire suppression system(FSS), is the primary means of protecting the dewar against over pressurization during flight. NSN:6340-00-510-7900UC P/N: 7720009-103 BEQ: 47 UNITS, Dim: H 2.5in x W 3.0in x D 3.2in, Form/Function: The signal conditioner works in conjunction with two capacitance probes to determine the liquid level of two storage tanks. NSN:4820-01-318-3568UC P/N: 7720030-106 BEQ: 14 UNITS, Dim: H 5.2in x W 3in x D 6.7in, Form/Function: The dewar relief valve, as used in the fire suppression system (FSS), is the primary means of protecting the dewar against over pressurization during flight. NSN:6615-00-184-5754UC P/N: 93347-1 BEQ: 3 UNITS, Dim: H 3in x W 4in x D 14in, Form/Function: Barrel assembly for lower rudder. NSN:1660-00-106-8527UC P/N: 4-1265-101 BEQ: 12 UNITS, Dim: H 15in x W 9.95 x D 9.95, Form/Function: Refueling receptable Assembly used to facilitate the transfer of fuel during flight. NSN:4820-00-195-4164UC P/N: 7720022-101 BEQ: 3, Dim: H 5.25 x W 5.25 x D 5.625, Form/Function: The vent coupling receptable is a spring-loaded, direct-acting, poppet-valve device which is attached to the aircraft and provides access for the LN2 vent probe with a positive locking device. NSN:1680-01-070-4375UC P/N: 7720304-102 BEQ: 1 UNIT, Dim: H 8.235in x W 9.5in x D 4.79, Form/Function: The main display and control panel provides display and control functions for an aircraft fire suppression system. NSN: 4820-00-270-0681UC P/N: 7720030-102 BEQ: 18 UNITS, Dim: H 5.2in x W 3in x D 6.7, Form/Function: The dewar relief valve, as used in the fire suppression system (FSS), is the primary means of protecting the dewar against over pressurization during flight. NSN:1680-01-496-8566 P/N: 4-1265-101-101 BEQ: 8 UNITS, Dim: H 10in x W 10in x D 20in, Form/Function: Used to provide capability to refuel the C-5 while in the air. APPLICABLE TO THE C-5 ACFT. THE RESULTING 3 YEAR CONTRACT WILL CONSIST OF A BASIC ORDERING PERIOD FOLLOWED BY TWO - 1 YEAR ORDERING PERIODS. THE ONLY APPROVED REPAIR SOURCE FOR THESE ITEMS IS PARKER HANNIFIN (CAGE: 92003). THE REQUIRED DELIVERY IS 45 ARO, FOB ORIGIN, INSPECTION AND ACCEPTANCE AT ORIGIN. SEE NOTE 22 AND 26
