Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. A written proposal will be issued. The solicitation number is W912EQ-09-T-0009. This acquisition is issued as a request for quote. This acquisition is an unrestricted solicitation. The associated NAICS code is 562111 with a size of $12.5M. The following is a list of contract line item number(s): CLIN 0001: Base Year Garbage disposal services for the period of 24 DEC 2008 through 23 DEC 2009; CLIN 0001AA-Provide eighteen (18) 6-Cubic Yard containers starting approximately 24 December 2008 and ending approximately 23 December 2009; CLIN 0001AB - Provide two (2) 40-Cubic Yard Containers starting approximately 24 December 2008 and ending approximately 23 December 2009; CLIN 0002 - Option Year One (1) - Garbage disposal services for Ensley Engineer Yard for the period 24 December 2009 through 23 December 2010. CLIN 0002AA - Provide eighteen (18) 6-Cubic Yard containers starting approximately 24 December 2009 and ending approximately 23 December 2010; CLIN 0002AB - Provide two (2) 45-Cubic Yard Containers starting approximately 24 December 2009 and ending approximately 23 December 2010; CLIN 0003 Option Year Two (2) - Garbage disposal services for Ensley Engineer Yard for the period 24 December 2010 through 23 December 2011(SUBCLIN are the same as above); CLIN 0004 - Option Year Three (3) - Garbage disposal services for Ensley Engineer Yard for the period 24 December 2011 through 23 December 2012 (SUBCLIN are the same as above); CLIN 0005 - Option Year Four (4) - Garbage disposal services for Ensley Engineer Yard for the period 24 December 2012 through 23 December 2013 (SUBCLIN are the same as CLIN 0001AA and 0001AB). Contractors shall submit a lump sum quotation to include all chargers. The government intends to evaluate proposals based on technical capabilities, past performance and price related factors. Quotes may be submitted in hard copy or electronically, either through regular mail, email, or by facsimile. Regardless of the method of delivery, it is the offerors responsibility to ensure receipt of quotes by the time and date stated herein. EXECUTIVE SUMMARY - This Request for quote is being issued to award a contract for garbage disposal services at Ensley Engineer Yard as described in the below Statement of Work (SOW). STATEMENT OF WORK. The contractor shall furnish all labor, material, and equipment to provide garbage disposal services at Ensley Engineer Yard, 2915 Riverport Road, Memphis, Tennessee, for the contract period. C-2. EQUIPMENT. The Contractor shall provide on a continuous basis during the stated contract periods the following equipment: a.Eighteen (18) 6 cubic yard, high top model containers, with access for top and side loading. b.Two (2) 40 cubic yard, open top, haul away containers. INSPECTION AND ACCEPTANCE Ordered services, which have been completed, will be inspected periodically during the progress of the services, and accepted by the Contracting Officers Representative. Work will be inspected for compliance with the Statement of Work and accuracy of the data provided. Work which does not meet the specifications will require corrections by the contractor. DELIVERIES OR PERFORMANCE F-1. Pick-up service shall be as follows: a. 40 cubic yard containers shall be picked up on an as needed/call basis, not to exceed 26 pick-ups total for both containers, per contract year. Contractor shall provide contact number to schedule pick-ups and shall make pick-ups within 2 working days of call. b. The 6 cubic yard containers shall be emptied on a scheduled weekly basis. These containers will be moved to a single location on the Ensley property by the Government prior to the scheduled pick-up. The contractor shall only be responsible for emptying the containers present at the central site, which will normally be 12 to 15 per week. Service shall be performed between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. on a day mutually agreeable to both parties. Contractor shall submit completed clause 52.212-3, Offeror Representation and Certifications, Commercial Items.
