- The US ARMY CECOM LCMC intends to acquire the ANVIS-HUD24, qty 01: FEATURES: The day-night ANVIS-HUD-24 gives pilots the ultimate head-out flight solution: 24-hour operational capability from a single integrated system. The system combines the standard Night Vision Goggles (NVG) image with aircraft flight information. With the DAY HUD add-on module, the same flight information is displayed for day use as well. The ANVIS-HUD 24 system can be installed on any type of helicopter - Western or Eastern, bused or un-bused, and can interface and support various A-C systems. The system enables independent dual cockpit, HOCAS driven operation. The innovative and highly reliable ANVIS-HUD 24 system is already operational on over 4,000 helicopters and 25 different platforms. The system is also designated as AN-AVS-7, AN-AVS-503 and DNVG. During day or night flight the system assures: Head-out flight safety, Expanded mission capabilities, Enhanced situational awareness Increased survivability, Enhanced crew coordination. TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS: (ANVIS-HUD24) " One system unit Signal Data Converter (SDC) " Modular with two spare card slots supporting: Cueing, Digital Map, VADR, HUMS and more. " 8 selectable display operation modes " Proven high field reliability (MTBF more than 3000 Hours) " SDC power: less than 35 watts, 28V DC " Low total system power: less than 48 watts " SDC weight: under 13.2 Lbs (6 Kg) " Qualified on over 25 platforms, MIL-E-5400 Class 1A; MIL-A-49425, MIL-STD-461C (Part 2). (NIGHT HUD) " Add-on to any standard NVG " Symbology FOV 32 degrees over 40 degrees night vision " No degradation to the ANVIS image " Contrast ratio: 2:1 Min. (at 0.03 FC) " Position stability less than 3 percent " Distortion less than 3 percent " Lightweight less than 70 gr " Compatible with any ANVIS (Gen II, Gen III and OMNIBUS) " Easily attached to the right or left eyepiece on any standard NVG " Can be used with an NBC mask or eyeglasses " Quick disconnect for safe egress (DAY-HUD) " Easily attached to any standard ANVIS-mounted helmet " Plug & Play to the ANVIS-HUD system " See-through symbology FOV 25 degrees outside the clear or dark visor " Contrast ratio: 1.4:1 Min.
