- EXCEPT AS MODIFIED OR AMPLIFIED IN RFP, THIS ITEM CONTAINS CLASS "C" EXPLOSIVES. DFAR CLAUSE 252.223-7002, SAFETY PRECAUTIONS FOR AMMUNITION AND EXPLOSIVES (MAY 1994) APPLIES. THIS ACQUISITION CONTAINS EXPLOSIVE NAVAL ORDNANCE ITEMS, WHICH REQUIRE SPECIAL SECURITY, SAFETY AND TRANSPORTATION CLAUSES. THE CLAUSES MAY BE FOUND IN SECTION "I". CODE 0242.05NOTE: PAPER COPIES OF THE SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE PROVIDED BY THE NAVY.THIS PROCUREMENT IS UNRESTRICTED. THIS ITEM IS AN EXPLOSIVE DEVICE. QUANTITY - 1,856 EACH. ITEM DESCRIPTION: NSN 1377-01-332-2379ES, MD90 REEFING LINE CUTTER, USED IN ACES II AIRCRAFT. A SAFETY SURVEY WILL BE REQUIRED. EXPLOSIVE WEIGHT - 0.07 LBS. EXPLOSIVE CLASS - 1.4. PRODUCTION LOT TESTING, CONTRACTOR DATA REQUIREMENT LIST AND FOB ORIGIN APPLY. A LIMITED DRAWING PACKAGE IS AVAILABLE FOR VIEWING ON THE WEB. A DIGITAL CERTIFICATE IS REQUIRED FOR VIEWING WEB BASED DRAWINGS. NOTE: This is an electronically formatted solicitation, available only on the Navy Web page at http://www.neco.navy.mil.
