- Description
- The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, permits, and licenses required to build a one story Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) addition to the existing DOD Barquist Clinic in Fort Detrick, MD in accordance with drawings and specifications. This will include some minor renovation to the existing adjacent outpatient clinic as required to accommodate connection to the new building which will include alterations, grading, drainage, and construction and certain other items. A pre-bid site visit is scheduled for 12/4/08 at 1:00 PM at 1434 porter St, Bldg. 1529, Conference Room at the Rally Point, Ft. Detrick, MD 21702. You will be required to have proper identification (license, social security card, passport). This is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business set-aside acquisition. Bids are due on 12/30/08 at 2:00 PM, local time, at the VA Medical Center, 510 Butler Avenue, Bldg. 308B, Martinsburg, WV 25405. NAICS: 236220, size standard: $31 million. A bid guarantee will be required. All questions are to be submitted to the Contracting Officer in writing. This solicitation is being issued pursuant to the authority of Public law 109-461, 38 U.S.C. 8127. Construction cost range is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. Bidders are advised that no contract will be awarded to any firm not listed in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database and VetBiz. Bidders will be responsible for downloading the solicitation. Any amendments issued to this solicitation and bidder's mailing list will only be available on the website. Contractors are advised that they are responsible for obtaining all amendments.
