- This is a notice of intent to award a sole source purchase order under the authority of FAR 6.302 to SNL Financial. SNL provides the latest and most accurate news, data and analysis for publicly traded banks and thrifts, financial services, insurance, real estate, energy and media & communications companies. The above named vendor is believed to be the only source providing a subscription to include a comprenhensive financial institution package. This notice of intent is NOT a Request for Quote (RFQ) for competitive quotes. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort via e-mail to sharon.davis@ots.treas.gov no later than Noon, on Friday, November 28, 2008. Capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination not to compete this proposed procurement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
