- Solicitation # SP0600-08-R-0307 requirement has changed. Total estimated quantity is increased to 79,640 gallons. Length of requirement changed to two years and 2 weeks. Overall performance period is changed to 15 Jan 09 through 31 Jan 11. Solicitation Amendment SP0600-08-R-0307-0001will be issued on or about 20 Nov 2008. The Government intends to execute an unrestricted procurement for production and delivery of an estimated quantity of 98,520 gallons, of commercial Liquid Methane 99.9%, Type II, Grade B, Bulk, IAW Performance Specification MIL-PRF-32207 Propellant Methane dated 10 October 2006, Hazardous Material NSN 9135-01-239-8066. This requirement is for a two year and seven month firm fixed price requirement type contract for FOB Destination to Las Cruces, NM and San Bernardino, CA and Rancho Cordova, CA and Caddo Mills, TX. This requirement also includes services for installation, lease and removal of a contractor owned storage tank, with minimum capacity of 3,000 gallons and maximum capacity of 6,000 gallons, at San Bernardino, CA and Caddo Mills, TX. Multiple contracts may be awarded. The performance periods vary by location but the overall performance perod shall be from 01 Aug 08 through 24 Feb 11. The intended use is as a fuel for engine development.
