- THIS NOTICE CONSTITUTES AMENDMENT NO. 3 TO THE COMBINED SYNOPSIS/RFQ FOR LEASEPURCHASE OF TWO LATHE MILLING MACHINES. Companies shall acknowledge all amendment(s) intheir quote. This notice serves as the official amendment to subject synopsis/RFQ and awritten amendment will not be issued.The purpose of this amendment is to answer questions asked before the due date.1. Question: I reviewed the terms and conditions regarding the solicitation, but I couldnot find any information regarding the payment schedule of the lease. I understand thatthe deal will be structured as 5 yearly payments. When will the first payment be made? Is this a term/condition we specify, or does the government have a pre-determinedstructure? Answer: The first years lease payment will be made 30 days after reciept of a validinvoice from the vendor once the award is made.2. Is this for small business or large business? The information states no not forsmall business and yes in another area that it is small business. Please provideclarity.Answer: This procurement is not set-aside for small business. The RDQ is in error.The due date for receipt of offers is not extended. Companies shall provide the information stated in the synopsis/RFQ posted on the NASAAcquisition Internet Service (NAIS) on 11/14/2008. Documents related to this procurementare available over the Internet. These documents reside on a World Wide Web (WWW) serverwhich may be accessed using a WWW browser application.
