Description

The Phoenix Area Indian Health Service (IHS) proposes to make a non-competitive award to the Native American Community Health Center Inc., for the continuation of the Urban Indian Health Program. This contract award is made pursuant to Public Law 94-437, the Indian Health Care Improvement Act, Title V (IHCIA) codified at 25 U.S.C. § 1651 et.seq., as authorized in the contract renewal provision for an existing contract under Section §505. The Class Justification for Other Than Full and Open Competition was approved 22 August 2008. The Contractor shall provide limited health care service delivery by referral, educational and preventative service activities. Where practical, provide or enter into contracts for the provision of direct care services to American Indians/Alaska Natives (Urban) living in the metropolitan area of Phoenix, AZ, in accordance with the statement of work.
