Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation and this announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is for small businesses however large businesses will be considered if no small businesses respond with a quote. This action will result in a FFP purchase order utilizing simplified commercial acquisition procedures under Full and Open Competition. This requirement is for contract housing, commercial motel/hotel facilities within a 30 mile radius of each Ohio National Guard Unit in the State of Ohio. All rooms are to be double occupancy rooms with 2 beds per room and no more than 2 persons will be assigned to any room. This quotation is for room and occupancy tax (AKA Hotel tax) only and does not include any incidentals or additional services as may be requested by the individual. Those additional costs, if any, are to be charged and pay for in full by the requesting individual and will not be shown on the invoice to the Government. See Attached for the unit locations and room quantity needed at each location. The Government intends to award to multiple venders for each location listed. The contract period is from 01 Feb 2009 through 30 Sep 2009 with 4 option years pending funding availability. Contractors facilities must meet minimum standards for Federal, State (Ohio), and local government, as well as industry standards for health, welfare and safety of our occupants according to ANGR Sup 34-246. The following shall be used to evaluate offers: price or cost to the Government, availability of rooms and quality of services. The Government will make an award to the responsible vender whose offer conforming to the solicitation is the most advantageous to the Government. All contractors must accept Government Purchase Orders and be registered in the Central Contractors Registration. To get registered go to www.ccr.gov. The government reserves the right to change locations, dates, and to cancel rooms as needed but will notify the vender within the parameters of that particular locations rules unless in an emergency situation.
