Description

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Office of Public Health and Science through the Program Support Center, plans to award a 12 month sole source simplified acquisition in accordance with Parts 6.302-1(a)(2) of the Federal Acquisition Regulation to Tower Dawson, LLC, 200 Tower Oaks Blvd. Nineth floor, Rockville, MD 20852. The purpose of this acquisition is to provide monthly parking permits for the employees located in the Tower Building/leased/occupied by Office of Public Health and Science (OPHS) employees. The parking for OPHS staff is provided by the Tower Companies because of this proprietary agreement parking is not available through any other sources. The period of performance will for 12 months. THE PROPOSED SIMPLIFIED ACQUISITION ACTION IS FOR SUPPLIES AND SERVICES FOR WHICH THE GOVERNMENT INTENDS TO SOLICIT AND NEGOTIATE WITH ONLY ONE SOURCE UNDER AUTHORITY OF FAR 6.302-1. INTERESTED PERSONS MAY IDENTIFY THEIR INTEREST AND CAPABILITY TO RESPOND TO THE REQUIREMENT OR SUBMIT PROPOSALS WITHIN 10 DAYS AFTER THE DATE OF PUBLICATION OF THE NOTICE. A DETERMINATION BY THE GOVERNMENT NOT TO COMPETE THIS PROPOSED SIMPLIFIED ACQUISITIONS BASED UPON RESPONSES TO THIS NOTICE IS SOLELY WITHIN THE DISCRETION OF THE GOVERNMENT. INFORMATION RECEIVED WILL NORMALLY BE CONSIDERED SOLELY FOR THE PURPOSE OF DETERMINING WHETHER TO CONDUCT A COMPETITIVE PROCUREMENT.
