- The Department of the Army, Mission and Installation Contracting Command (Provisional),Contracting Center of Excellence (CCE) on behalf of the United States Army Information Technology Agency (USAITA) intends to award a sole source contract, under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(d)(1)(B) and FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii)(B) -- Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements, to Telos Corporation, 19886 Ashburn Road, Ashburn, VA 20147-2358 to perform technical services for information security support to the USAITA and other Department of Defense agencies or departments supported by the USAITA. Services rendered under this contract will be divided into the following major task areas (1) Information Systems Certification and Accreditation Support, (2) Computer Incident/Emergency Response Team Administration and Support, (3) Computer Network Defense and Technology Assessment Support, (4) Physical Security Program Support, (5) Personnel Security Program Support, and (6) Industrial Security Program Support. This action will result in a 4 month Firm-Fixed-Priced contract with no option periods. This Notice of Intent to award a sole source contract is not a request for competitive proposals. There is no solicitation document. No RFP will be available for competitive proposals. Phone calls will not be accepted. The point of contact for this action is Mr. Elijah Gross, Contracting Specialist, elijah.gross@us.army.mil. Interested parties may express their interest and provide a Capability Statement to Mr. Elijah Gross via e-mail no later than 16 December 2008; 12:00PM EST.Questions are due no later than 15 December 2008; 12:00PM EST. A determination not to compete this proposed contract action upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
