Description

The USPFO For Rhode Island intends to enter into negotiations and award two (2) sole source contracts for Construction Inspection and Supervision Services to Jacobs Facilities Inc., 1100 N. Glebe Road, Suite 500, Arlington, VA 22201. These proposed contract actions are under authority 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented in Far 6.302-1. It has been determined that it is in the best interest of economy and efficiency that these proposed sole source contracts be procured from the Architect-Engineer firm (Jacobs Faciliites, Inc.) that designed the applicable facilities. The applicable projects were the design of a new Army Aviation Support Facility (AASF), Project Number 440039, and design of a new East Greenwich Readiness Center (EGRC), Project Number 440016. The proposed award date for these sole source procurements is 5 December 2008. See Numbered Not 22.N.
