- The WRBS provides wireless bridge nodes that use DoD/DoN approvedencryption and authentication techniques for wireless networking. WRBS'sinfrastructure will provide a secure means of rapidly transferring UNCLASSIFIEDdata from the Target Vessel to the Navy Host Vessel for the purpose ofdeterring, delaying and disrupting the movement of terrorist and terrorist-related materials and personnel at sea, while preserving the lives of US Forcesengaged worldwide in activities relating to the Global War on Terrorism(GWOT). ISNS provides software and hardware for system monitoring, networkmanagement and system administration via LAN infrastructure. ISNSUNCLASSIFIED Wireless will be installed using wired drops and provide thesame LAN capabilities at a cost savings. The ISNS WLAN extension has beendeveloped through work previously performed by 3eTI in support of the PEOSHIPS Science and Technology Manager in collaboration with both the NavalNetworks Warfare Command and PEO C4I.
