- The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center San Diego (FISCSD) Contracting Department is seeking to identify potential 8(a), Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone), or Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) sources for contractor support to assist in the execution of mission functions in the area of general administrative duties within the Administrative and Training Departments for organizational level (O-Level) support of Fleet Replacement Squadrons (FRS) and Test and Evaluation Squadrons (VX). Squadron support will be required at the following geographical locations with the estimated percentage of contract support provided in parentheses: Naval Air Station (NAS) Whidbey Island, WA (11.4%); NAS Lemoore, CA (16.2%); NAS China Lake, CA (4.6%); NAS North Island CA (25.1%); NAS Patuxent River, MD (4.0%); Naval Station (NS) Norfolk, VA (13.8%); NAS Oceana, VA (5.6%); NAS Jacksonville, FL (14.1%); and NS Mayport, FL (5.2%). Functions will include ! routine administrative services, personnel services (military leave, pay, and travel), mail services, library services, record keeping, reports preparation, and general clerical tasks. Work is currently being performed by military personnel. Award will result in a single award Cost plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract. NAICS Code 561110 applies and the small business size standard is $7.0M. Interested parties must submit a written expression of interest via email to daniel.mahan@navy.mil no later than 11 December 2008 by 12:00PM (noon) local time. Sources must indicate if they are 8(a), HUBZone, or SDVOSB. Sources should also submit a capability statement not to exceed five pages in length. Sources should identify any on-going/recent government contracts performing the same or similar work including contract number and name/telephone number of the Contracting Officer. This Sources Sought is for information and planning purpos! es only and does NOT constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) and does not restrict the government as to its ultimate acquisition approach.
