Description
This is a SSA to identify additional sources that can provide the AM-7105A-A SAS Amp which is part of the Army UH-60A-L Black Hawk. There is a quantity of one SAS amp per helicopter. The only current source for the SAS amp and the subassemblies is Honeywell International Inc., Cage 07187. The current SAS amp provided by Honeywell and its subassemblies are identified by the following NSNs and part numbers. The AM-7105A-A SAS amp has an NSN 5990-01-317-8581, Honeywell PN 3757261-7. The subassemblies are as follows: Rate Gyro, NSN 6615-01-087-1821, Honeywell PN 2793175-1; Pitch Module, Analog, Amp, NSN 5821-01-175-0818, Honeywell PN 2800969-2; Roll-Yaw Module, NSN 5821-01-175-0825, Honeywell PN 280103 5-4. The subassemblies are replaced during depot repair of the SAS amp. Detailed technical data for the manufacture or acceptance of the SAS amp unit or its subassemblies are not available from the Army. Any sources interested in the proposed action must be able to demonstrate that they can provide form, fit, and function replacements to currently procured SAS amp and its subassemblies. Additionally, Airworthiness Release (AWR) is required before equipment can be used on Army aircraft. AWR involves environmental, electromagnetic interference, and flight testing. Interested sources must provide information to verify that their items have obtained the required AWR from the U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command, or details of when an AWR is anticipated to be received. Additionally, provide information on your production lead time, as well as the status of your production line. If you do not have an operational production line provide information on how long it would take to establish an operational production line. Sources capable of providing the required items are required to provide their written input to the U.S. Army CECOM LCMC, ATTN: AMSEL-LC-CCS-N-AA, Building 1200E, Fort Monmouth, NJ 07703-5000. This SSA does not obligate the Government to award a contract. No telephone responses will be accepted, only responses in writing will be considered. This information can be emailed to the Governments points of contact as follows: Man Moy at Man.Moy@us.army.mil and Daniel Cordasco at Daniel.Cordasco@us.army.mil.
