- DESCRIPTION: PR 0020132296, 5962-01-406-2239. Approved source(s): Raytheon (4U884) Part Number 5097680-2 & Natel Engineering Company Inc (09059) Part Number 8655417-002. The requirement is for 47 each to be delivered to New Cumberland, PA (W25G1U) within 90 days with any balance to be delivered at a rate of 20 each every 30 days thereafter. All responsible sources may submit an offer/quote which shall be considered. This solicitation is an RFP and will be available on the Internet at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil on its issue date of December 22, 2008. Hard copies of this solicitation are NOT available. This is an unrestricted procurement. Specifications, plans or drawings are not available. Various increments solicited: from 40 ea to 79 ea; from 80 ea to 119 ea; from 120 ea to 159 ea; from 160 ea to 200 ea. Proposed procurement contains a 100% option for increased quantities. This acquisition is for supplies for which the Government does not possess complete, unrestrictive technical data; therefore, the Government intends to solicit and contract with only approved sources under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). Approved sources are: Raytheon (4U884) Part Number 5097680-2 & Natel Engineering Company Inc. (09059) Part Number 8655417-002. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government’s requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice.
