- The U. S. Army Corps of Engineers, Harry S. Truman Project, intends to issue a solicitation for Relief Park Attendant Services for Long Shoal and Thibaut Point Public Use Areas. The Contractor shall provide all manpower, equipment, and supplies, necessary to perform gate attendant services and surveillance of Long Shoal and Thibaut Point Public Use Areas. The contract will be for a base year with a one-year renewal option. The period of performance for the base year is 15 April 2009, or date of award if later, through 15 October 2009. Services are required four days per week (Two days in Long Shoal Public Use Area and two days in Thibaut Point Public Use Area). This solicitation will be issues as a Best Value, Request for Quote (RFQ) which will result in the award of a single firm fixed price (FFP) service contract. The solicitation will be available on or about December 11, 2008 and quotes will be due approximately January 5, 2009. The solicitation, including any amendments, shall establish the official opening and closing dates and times. NAICS code: The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this project is 721211. SBA size standard is $7.0. THIS SOLICITATION WILL BE SMALL BUSINESS SET ASIDE. 2008 Contract amount $5,400.00 per year.
