Description

PROJECT DETAILS: This project will consist road reconstruction on 2.62 miles (largest schedule) of roadway and a parking lot for AZ PRA PEFO 10(4), Repair/Overlay Park Roads, in Petrified Forest National Park, Navajo County, Arizona Estimated price range is between $1,000,000.00 and $3,000,000.00. This solicitation contains two schedules and one option. The option will be the Crystal Forest Parking Lot. Principal work items on the largest schedule include: lump sum contractor testing; 1,500 cu yd of subexcavation; 45,500 sq yds of pulverizing (various depths); 1,000 tons of roadway aggregate; 7,400 tons of hot asphalt concrete; 2,700 ln ft of 6-inch depth asphalt curb; 1,975 hours of traffic control; along with associated surveying and erosion control.. Tentative advertisement date is December 22, 2008.
