12/09/08 NOTICE UPDATE: The presolicitation notice has been updated to reflect the correct set aside information for this requirement (previously stated as a competitive, 100% set aside for Small Disadvantaged Business Concerns). CORRECTION: "This requirement is a competitive, 100% set aside for Small Business Concerns". Due to the notice update the RFP will be posted on or about 12/12/08. All other information remains the same. The General Services Administration (GSA), Pacific Rim Region, San Diego Service Center, Construction Services Branch announces an opportunity for a construction, repair & alteration project, "Paint 6th Floor Hallways", at the PJKK Federal Building & U.S. Courthouse, Honolulu, HI. The contractor shall provide all management, supervision, labor, supplies, materials, equipment, and tools to perform the specified work. The scope of work for "Paint 6th Floor Hallways" includes but is not limited to the following: prep, prime, and paint various hallways; replace cove base; move office furniture and equipment as required. This requirement is a competitive, 100% set aside for Small Business Concerns. The NAICS associated with this procurement is 236220. The small business size standard associated with this NAICS is $31 million. The estimated project cost range is between $100,000 and $200,000. The estimated project completion time is 60 calendar days. The Request For Proposal (RFP) will be issued on or about 12/05/08, with a closing date on or about 01/06/09. The technical specifications in the RFP are considered Sensitive but Unclassified Information. Therefore, interested offerors will need to be approved prior to gaining access to the RFP package. In order to be granted access, an offeror must be currently registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database (URL: http://www.ccr.gov). Once you have registered with CCR you will be required to register with FedBizOpps (FBO). No materials can be downloaded until you have registered under both sites. Once registered under both sites, interested offerors must complete the attached "Document Security Form". ALL INTERESTED VENDORS MUST SUBMIT THE DOCUMENT SECURITY NOTICE FORM POSTED WITH THIS NOTICE PRIOR TO BEING GRANTED ACCESS TO THE RFP PACKAGE. THE FORM MUST EITHER BE FAXED TO 619-557-5018 (ATTN: HEATHER CANEY), OR E-MAILED TO HEATHER.CANEY@GSA.GOV. Offerors are responsible for monitoring this site for the release of the RFP, Amendments, Attachments, and printing the RFP, Amendments, and Attachments.
