Description
DESCRIPTION: This a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, Bids are hereby requested. A written solicitation will not be issued. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code will be 238210, small business size standard is $13.0 Million Dollars. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Louis District, is seeking firms to furnish all necessary plant, equipment, materials, supplies and labor to install new underground cable, concrete manholes, relocation of AmerenUE Power supply poles and electric meter in accordance with the specifications and drawings contained herein at the West Alton, MO Rivers Project Office. This is an Invitation for Bid (IFB) solicitation. There will be a public bid opening at the address below. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsive and responsible bidder whose bid conforms to the solicitation requirements. The magnitude of this project is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00 This acquisition is being considered for a 100% Small Business set-aside. If your firm is a small business as defined by the small business size standard listed above, capable of performing, and intends to submit a bid on this acquisition, you must provide the following to the Contracting Officer no later than ten (10) days after publication of this notice: (a) A positive statement of your intention to bid on this contract as a prime contractor. In the event two or more responsible Small Business firms positively respond to this combined synopsis/solicitation, then the acquisition will be set-aside 100% to Small Business firms. Should fewer than two responsible Small Business contractors respond to this synopsis, the solicitation will be issued unrestricted pursuant to the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program.
